As sustainability expectations continue to evolve, organizations are increasingly recognizing that meaningful impact cannot be achieved through isolated initiatives alone. The challenge lies in integrating sustainability into the systems, decisions, and behaviors that drive everyday business performance.
For DIMO, this realization has shaped the next phase of its Sustainability Agenda 2030. Launched in 2022, the framework established a clear roadmap for advancing environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and long-term business resilience through seven key performance indicators. Over the past four years, the company has focused on building strong data systems and governance frameworks to better understand its sustainability footprint. Today, the focus has shifted from establishing foundations to embedding sustainability throughout the organization.
This transition was the driving force behind "Rooted and Reimagined," DIMO's internal sustainability summit. The theme reflected a simple but important idea: while the organization is now rooted in credible data and clearly defined targets, achieving its 2030 ambitions requires sustainability to become part of everyday decision-making. As Mega Ganeshan, Head of Sustainability at DIMO, explains, the next stage of progress depends on moving sustainability beyond reporting and into the daily actions of employees across the business.
The company's recent carbon footprint assessment for the 2024/25 financial year reflects this commitment to data-driven action. By establishing a more accurate baseline for emissions across its operations and value chain, DIMO is strengthening its approach to climate action while progressing towards Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) alignment.
At the same time, the company continues to advance its biodiversity commitments and promote employee wellbeing through initiatives that recognize sustainability as both an environmental and social responsibility. As DIMO looks toward 2030, its approach is clear: sustainability is no longer a parallel agenda. It is becoming an integral part of how the organization operates, creates value, and prepares for a more resilient future.
