DIMO Unveils the All-New Mercedes-Benz GLB 2026

What does the next generation of family mobility look like? For Mercedes-Benz, the answer combines intelligent technology with the flexibility families need every day. The All-New Mercedes-Benz GLB 2026 was unveiled by DIMO at the inaugural Sri Lanka Tennis Premier League 2026, introducing a new chapter in the brand’s premium SUV offering as Mercedes-Benz celebrates 140 Years of Innovation. Developed around the theme “Own Your New World,” the new GLB brings together space, comfort and versatility while retaining the distinctive character associated with Mercedes-Benz.

Designed with changing family needs in mind, the GLB can accommodate up to seven occupants with its third row of seats, while the rear seats can slide and feature individually adjustable backrests to create greater flexibility between passenger comfort and luggage space. Its design adds another layer of character, with daytime running lights shaped like the Mercedes star and signature lighting animations at the rear. Inside, the multimedia system allows passengers to stream music and video, while a four cylinder petrol engine paired with a 48V hybrid system combines everyday performance with improved fuel efficiency.

Speaking at the unveiling, DIMO Group Managing Director and CEO Gahanath Pandithage highlighted the long standing relationship between DIMO and Mercedes-Benz in Sri Lanka, describing the GLB as the latest chapter in a journey spanning more than eight decades. Beyond introducing a new vehicle, the launch reflects how premium mobility continues to evolve around the realities of modern families. With its blend of intelligent technology, adaptable space and distinctive design, the GLB 2026 invites a new generation of drivers to experience what it means to “Own Your New World.”
